1. About these terms
DukaanRaabta ("we", "us", "the platform") is a business-profile service operated by Convurtic (convurtic.com), 1st Cross, 1st Main Road, Old Mangammapalya, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560068. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between us and every person who signs in to, or is invited to use, the platform ("you", "owner"). By accepting an invitation, signing in, or publishing a profile you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms, the Privacy Notice, the Acceptable Use Policy and the other policies linked in the footer. These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not require a physical or digital signature.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Accounts are invitation-only. You must be at least 18 years old, competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and authorised to represent the business you list. You must keep your password and session secure, must not share your login with unauthorised people, and must tell us promptly at the support address if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. The service
The platform lets owners create public business profiles, product catalogues, branch/location pages, contact and social-media links, QR codes and promotional posters. Each account has limits on stores, products, branches, uploads and storage that we assign and may change by written agreement. Drafts are private until you publish them. Lowering a limit does not delete existing data but may block further edits or publishing until you are within the limit. We may improve, change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where a change materially reduces the service you rely on.
4. Your content and licence to us
You keep ownership of everything you upload or type, including names, logos, photos, PDFs, prices and descriptions ("your content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence for the duration of your use (and for a reasonable period afterwards for backups and caches) to host, store, resize, crop, compress, cache, display and distribute your content solely to operate, secure and promote the service, including showing your published profile to search engines. You confirm that you own or have permission to use all of your content and that it is accurate and lawful.
5. Your responsibilities as a business
You alone are the seller or service provider for anything listed on your profile. You are responsible for: accurate business identity, addresses and contact numbers; prices, stock, product descriptions and images; compliance with laws that apply to your trade (including the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, Consumer Protection Act, 2019, GST law, trade licences, and any licences for regulated goods such as fireworks); handling customer enquiries, payments, delivery, returns, warranties and complaints; and honouring any offer you advertise. Showing a "verified details" marker means only that you confirmed the details to us; it is not a government or third-party verification.
6. Our role as an intermediary
For content published by owners, we act as an intermediary within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and follow the due-diligence requirements of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We do not initiate transmissions, choose recipients or modify the substance of owner content beyond technical formatting. On receiving actual knowledge through a court order, a lawful government notice, or a valid grievance, we will remove or disable access to unlawful content within the timelines required by law.
7. Fees and payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, plans, prices, taxes, billing periods and included allowances are set out in a written quotation or invoice issued by the operator. We do not run automatic subscription billing on this site. Fees are exclusive of applicable GST unless stated. Non-payment of agreed fees after reasonable written notice may lead to unpublishing or suspension under Clause 9.
8. Intellectual property
The DukaanRaabta name, logo, software, templates, themes and site design belong to the operator or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use them only to create and share your profile and marketing material generated by the platform. You must not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or create a competing service from the platform.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and request account closure at any time through the support address. We may suspend access, unpublish a profile or remove content, with notice where reasonable and lawful, if: the content is unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful; you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; we are required to by law or by an authority; agreed fees remain unpaid; or the account is used to attack the platform or other users. After termination, public profile links and printed QR codes will stop working. You can request an export of your data within 30 days of closure. Store web addresses (slugs) may remain reserved to prevent impersonation.
10. Availability and disclaimers
The service relies on third-party providers (including Google Firebase, Cloudinary, Vercel and Cloudflare) and the public internet. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, search-engine ranking, enquiries, sales or revenue. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or loss of profits, goodwill or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you actually paid us for the service during that period, or INR 1,000 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless the operator against third-party claims, penalties and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your products or services, your dealings with your customers, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be published here with a new version date and, where appropriate, you will be asked to accept the updated version on your next sign-in before continuing to use owner features. Continued use after the effective date of a non-material change means you accept it.
14. Governing law, disputes and notices
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact convurtic@gmail.com first so we can try to resolve any concern informally within 30 days. Subject to any non-excludable rights you have as a consumer, the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction. Notices to us must be sent to convurtic@gmail.com; notices to you will be sent to your account email.
